Your wedding day deserves a storyteller's perspective
I'm Nicole, a documentary and candid style, film and digital wedding photographer based just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. A lover of people and art, I have a mellow, storytelling approach with a sincere focus on connection, comfort, and presence. My why is based in the simple things in life that my parents loved and passed down to me as a child . They taught me how to enjoy life, respect the classics, and love hard. At the foundation of all I do through my work is connection. I was brought up by a loving family of hobbyist photographers and storytellers dedicated to preserving our lives through photos and home videos. One of our favorite pastimes as a family was to sit together and flip through old photo albums. Picture a family reunion, birthday party, Saturday dinner, random Tuesday at a quaint home in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, full to the brim with loud Italians, and lifetimes worth of photos being shared. There was never a family gathering that didn't include going through piles of old photos that were lovingly captured by my dad, my aunt, my pap, or my distant relatives, and loudly recalling the stories that went along with each and every print. I loved how they saw and told each story from different perspectives with passion and sincerity. I loved the character, nostalgia, and life in each photo and video. I loved how they found importance in the mundane moments, often photographing simple things like their old car, the inside of the fridge, the road they lived on, the family cat, a school outfit, or their new bike. But above all else I loved the connection and strong bond it created for us as a family, both to each other, and to times that now live only in the photos. A slow and simple togetherness that I will always cherish. My heart is to deliver those same fond memories, feelings, and connections to all of my couples through their photos. My goal is to deliver an album of images you can sit around the dinning room table with and reminisce each moment with friends and family. My drive is to bring people closer, create connections through art, and serve as the intentional storyteller in my couple's biggest moments.
Photos will always be deeply personal to me, a source of happiness, evidence of love, a record of what once was. I like to see myself as the next generation in a long line of storytellers, eager to share my account and sentiment with each of you. I am honored every day to serve our area with this passion the Lord has given me, telling your stories is truly the blessing of a lifetime. Thank you for being here and trusting my artistry, I'd love nothing more than to connect with you!
What lights my fire
Give me the characters, the big personalities, messy hair and bare feet in the grass, the curiously shy, the beautifully unpolished, the quaint, the classically elegant, the unique, the traditional, the crazy in love, the passionate, the nostalgia lovers, the old souls, the dreamers and hippies, the eclectic, the care free. Whatever you are, be that, and be a lot of it.

Aside from being a photographer I am a Christian, mom of 2, wife to a blue collar man, and a 3rd generation Air Force veteran. I am 27 years old and some of my hobbies include fitness, travel, cooking, music, and all things fashion! I come from a big Italian family. Naturally, I am a huge family person. My son Memphis, daughter Carter, and husband Joseph are the loves of my life. When I'm not working you can find me snuggled up on the couch, out for dinner, exploring parks, traveling, or going on walks with them! My immediate family still lives in Ohio where I was born and raised, I miss them dearly and photos have meant more to me this past decade than ever before.
